Run for the Son 2001The cross is the symbol of our salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. The Christian Motorcyclists' Association represents motorcyclists from many different Christian denominations and walks of life. Through this event, which took place over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th June 2001, we want to create an awareness of the cross, to impact our nation, and claim it back for Christ. We want to make a difference. Matthew chapter 6, verse 24:
2001's Run For The Son was a great success, we raised £7,238, which was phenomenal for our very first event. The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, Chinese Ministries International, and SLEFES (Motorcycles for Sierra Leone), plus ourselves the CMA, all benefited tremendously. This event also brought about a unity within CMA, with all the branches working together. The Bible tells us that where there is unity there the Holy Spirit can work. The Bible tells us to go into the world and make disciples of all, the CMA strives to make a difference. Will you also help to make a difference? |
