Rest of Scotland

The Rest of Scotland branch covers a large area but currently the majority of members are located in West Lothian, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Dunbartonshire and Ayrshire, and a newly formed Twig in the NE of Scotland called 'Aberdeenshire and Mearns'.

We meet twice a month for fellowship in different members houses - see Fellowship meetings for details.

Runs meet at 9.30am for a 10am start at the places in the events list. Contact Brian on 07737964440 for run info.
We also organise a sponsored run over a weekend for a worthy charity every year. In 2008 the run was in aid of the Scottish Bible Society's 'Congo' Appeal on 6-8 Sept 08. The sponsored event in 2009 was a 'Castles' run in aid of the Scottish Bible Society and took place on Friday 31st July - Sunday 2nd August, with a service of thanksgiving at Inverness Dalneigh C of S on 2nd August at 11.30. This was our 20th anniversary of our first sponsored run, which was for the then National Bible Society of Scotland.

Branch events include a Stand at the Scottish Bike Show at Ingliston during the 3rd weekend of March (20/21st) in 2010 and one at the Grampian Motorcycle Convention in Alford on Sun 5th Sept '10. A sponsored run for MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) will be held 20-22 August 2010. In addition we are involved in church events, youth outreach, runs etc and the annual pilgrimage to the Isle of Man.

17^th National AGM at New Life Church, Danesford Community Centre, West Road, Congleton, Cheshire CW12 4EY. As usual this will be a fellowship weekend from Friday evening(16th) until after the morning service on Sunday (18th)

7^th to the 9^th You've Been Nabbed Rally at Astle Park, on the A535 Holmes Chapel Rd, Chelford, Cheshire. North Cheshire Branch are organising a large CMA Holy Joes tent for this great NABD event. Pre booked tickets before 25th April cost £20. Contact Sid n_chesh@bike.org.uk
15^th to the 16^th BMF Show 9am-5pm, East of England Showground, Peterborough. CMA have a stand at this showcase event.
